SBI Specialist Officer 2015 - Exam Pattern & Syllabus

SBI Specialist Officer 2015 - Exam Pattern & Syllabus

State Bank of India has announced notification for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers posts in State Bank Group for the year 2015. So here, we are posting the detailed analysis on pattern and syllabus of the On-line Exam to be held. Hope the post proves to be beneficial for all!!

The On - Line Exam will be held on 14th June 2015

Now let us have a look on the Exam Pattern in detail:

As per the notification released by SBI for Specialist Officer,

Part I:
There will be 120 questions of 120 marks. An Important Point to keep in mind is that these marks are of only Qualifying Purpose. These marks won't be considered while calculating your merit. For example, assume that the cut - off marks for Reasoning section is 8. So they will only check whether you have marks 8 or above. It doesn't make any difference if you get 11 or 50 out of 50 marks. For SBI both are same.

So don’t waste time on these sections!!!
Part II: (Professional Knowledge section)
This is the section to watch out for. You will get 50 questions of 100 marks. They will consider these marks in deciding your merit. To be eligible for being short-listed for interview, you have to score really good in this section, besides scoring equal to or above the minimum qualifying marks in other tests. So, this section is the most crucial one and will decide your fate.

Now let us have an insight knowledge of the Syllabus:

SBI hasn't provided any formal syllabus in its notification. So, on the basis of the previous year papers, we are providing to you the following syllabus.
