India will host the next BRICS Summit in 2016. This was announced in
the 7th BRICS Summit held in Russian city of Ufa in Bashkortostan. The
eighth BRICS Summit will be organised in New Delhi in 2016 - four years
after India organised the fourth summit in 2012. India would become
BRICS chairperson from February 2016.
भारत 2016 में
अगले ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेगा। इसकी घोषणा बश्कोर्तोस्तान
में रूसी शहर ऊफ़ा में आयोजित 7वें ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन में की गई थी।
आठवां ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन 2016 में नई दिल्ली में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
भारत चार साल बाद इसकी मेजबानी करेगा। 2012 में ब्रिक्स के चौथे शिखर
सम्मेलन का आयोजन भारत में हुआ था। भारत फ़रवरी 2016 से ब्रिक्स का अध्यक्ष
बन जाएगा।

Ashok K. Lahiri, a former Chief Economic Advisor (CEA), was named as
the first Chairman of Bandhan Bank during the announcement of
appointment of Board of Directors of the bank was made. Chandra Sekhar
Ghosh will be the MD and CEO of the bank. The bank will start its
operations from 23 August 2015 and will be inaugurated by the President
of India, Pranab Mukherjee.

आर्थिक सलाहकार अशोक के. लाहिड़ी को बंधन बैंक ने अपने निदेशक मंडल की
घोषणा करते हुए बैंक के पहले अध्यक्ष के रूप में नामित किया। चन्द्र शेखर
घोष को बैंक का प्रबन्ध निदेशक एवं मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी घोषित किया
गया। बंधन बैंक अपना परिचालन 23 अगस्त 2015 से शुरू करेगा जब इसका उद्घाटन
राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी द्वारा किया जायेगा।

Credit Information Bureau India Ltd (CIBIL), India’s leader in credit
information, has appointed Satish Pillai as its new Managing Director
and Chief Executive Officer. Pillai succeeds Arun Thukral who retires
this year after a decade.

इन्फॉर्मेशन में भारत की प्रमुख कंपनी क्रेडिट इन्फॉर्मेशन ब्यूरो इंडिया
लिमिटेड (सिबिल), ने अपने नए प्रबंध निदेशक और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी के
रूप में सतीश पिल्लई को नियुक्त किया है। पिल्लई ने अरूण ठुकराल का स्थान
लिया है जो एक दशक के बाद इस वर्ष सेवानिवृत्त हुए।

India and United States (US) signed Inter Governmental Agreement
(IGA) to implement the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). The
agreement will promote transparency on tax matters between the two
countries. As per the IGA, FFIs in India will be required to report tax
information about US account holders directly to the Indian Government
which will, in turn, relay that information to the IRS. The IRS will
provide similar information about Indian account holders in the United
States.

संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका (यूएसए) ने विदेशी खाता कर अनुपालन अधिनियम
(एफएटीसीए) को लागू करने हेतु अंतर-सरकारी समझौते (आईजीए) पर हस्ताक्षर
किये। यह समझौता दोनों देशों के बीच कर संबंधित मामलों में पारदर्शिता को
बढ़ावा देगा। इसके तहत भारतीय वित्तीय संस्थान अपने अमेरिकी ग्राहकों के
बारे में राजस्व विभाग को सूचना देंगे जो इसे अमेरिकी अधिकारियों को उपलब्ध
कराएगा। अमेरिका भी इसी तरह की वित्तीय सूचनाएं भारत को देगा।

Vodafone India, the telecom service providers, has entered into a
strategic tie-up with Walmart India. This tie-up will enable business
members of six Best Price Modern Wholesale stores, owned and operated by
Walmart India, to make payments using M-Pesa from their mobile
anywhere, anytime. The first-of-its-kind partnership with Walmart India,
gives all its members, including small businesses such as
kiranas/resellers, the benefit of sending money through their mobile
phones instantly and securely and run their customer facing businesses
more efficiently and in hassle-free manner.
दूरसंचार सेवा
प्रदाता कंपनी वोडाफोन इंडिया ने विश्व की सबसे बड़ी रिटेल कंपनी वॉलमार्ट
इंडिया के साथ एम-पैसा के माध्यम से भुगतान के लिए साझेदारी की है। इस
समझौते के तहत एम-पैसा के जरिए वॉलमार्ट इंडिया द्वारा संचालित छह थोक
स्टोरों के बिल का भुगतान किया जा सकता है। वॉलमार्ट इंडिया के साथ यह इस
तरह का पहला समझौता है जिसमें किराना दुकानों जैसे छोटे व्यापारियों सहित
सभी सदस्यों को अपने मोबाइल फोन के माध्यम से बिना किसी परेशानी के
सुरक्षित और तुरंत पैसे भेजने की सुविधा प्रदान की गई है।

Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA), a unique initiative developed by
the Ministry of Human Resource Development with the objective to
inculcate a spirit of inquiry, creativity and love for Science and
Mathematics in school children was launched by the former President Dr.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. This is the Phase I of RAA, while Phase II of RAA
will be launched in January, 2016 for higher education under which model
science labs will be established in all districts of the North Eastern
States.

राष्ट्रपति डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम ने राष्ट्रीय आविष्कार अभियान (आरएए)
का शुभारंभ किया। देश के स्कूली छात्रों में विज्ञान तथा गणित के प्रति
जागरुकता, उत्साह तथा रुचि विकसित करने के उद्देश्य से केन्द्रीय मानव
संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा यह विशिष्ट पहल विकसित की गई है। यह
“राष्ट्रीय आविष्कार अभियान” का पहला चरण है तथा दूसरे चरण को जनवरी 2015
में शुरू करने की योजना है जिसमें उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के छात्रों में
गणित तथा विज्ञान के प्रति अभिरुचि विकसित करने के लिए आधुनिक साइंस लैब
स्थापित करने तथा विशेष रूप से उत्तर पूर्व के राज्यों को जोड़ने की कोशिश
की जायेगी।

MakeMyTrip, RBL Bank, Inox wind and IRCTC are among the firms that
have made it to the Fortune Next 500 list of Indian companies, which has
been topped by iPhone distributor Redington India. Redington India tops
the list with annual revenue of over Rs. 1,690 crore followed by Inox
Wind (Rs 1,689 crore), ISMT (Rs 1,685 crore), Emcure Pharmaceuticals (Rs
1,683.5 crore) and Orientcraft (Rs 1,683 crore).

आरबीएल बैंक, आईनॉक्स विंड और आईआरसीटीसी भारत की कंपनियों की फॉर्च्यून
नेक्स्ट 500 लिस्ट में शामिल हो गई हैं। इस सूची में मौजूद कंपनियों
को आईफोन की डिस्ट्रिब्यूटर रेडिंगटन इंडिया ने पीछे छोड़ दिया है।
इसमें 1,690 करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा के कारोबार के साथ रेडिंगटन इंडिया
शीर्ष पर है। उसके बाद, आईनॉक्स विंड (1,689 करोड़ रुपए), आईएसएमटी (1,685
करोड़ रुपए), इमक्यूर फार्मास्यूटिकल्स (1,683.5 करोड़ रुपए) और
ओरिएंटक्राफ्ट (1,683 करोड़ रुपए) हैं।

A brilliant half-century by Thirush Kamini lifted India to a
nine-wicket win over New Zealand and enabled them to take the five-match
women's One-Day International (ODI) series 3-2. After bundling out New
Zealand for 118 in 41 overs, India, spearheaded by Kamini (62 not out)
and Deepti Sharma (44 not out), who put on 103 runs for the second
wicket, made 121/1 in 27.2 overs to round off a commanding performance.

तिरुष कामिनी के नाबाद अर्धशतक और दीप्ति शर्मा के आलराउंड खेल से भारतीय
महिला टीम ने पांचवें और अंतिम एकदिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट मैच में
न्यूजीलैंड को 136 गेंद शेष रहते हुए नौ विकेट से हराकर 3-2 से श्रृंखला
जीती। न्यूजीलैंड की टीम ने 41 ओवर में 118 रन बनाए थे। कामिनी 62 और
दीप्ति 44 रन बनाकर नाबाद रही। इन दोनों ने दूसरे विकेट के लिये 103 रन की
अटूट साझेदारी की। भारत ने केवल 27.2 ओवर में एक विकेट पर 121 रन बनाकर जीत
दर्ज की।

India dropped a whopping 15 places to languish at the 156th position
with 161 points in the latest FIFA rankings, after successive losses to
Oman and lowly-Guam in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers match held
last month. Earlier India was ranked 141st in world rankings. Argentina,
meanwhile, takes top spot in the FIFA rankings from World Cup winner
Germany despite losing another tournament final. Beaten by Chile in the
Copa America finalArgentina rises two places to lead the rankings.
Germany falls to No. 2, followed by Belgium.
फीफा विश्व कप
2018 के क्वालीफायर मुकाबलों में पिछले माह ओमान और गुआम से हारने के बाद
भारत फीफा की नवीनतम रैंकिंग में 15 स्थान नीचे आकर 161 अंक के साथ 156वें
स्थान पर पहुंच गया है। इससे पहले भारत विश्व रैंकिंग में 141वें स्थान पर
था। कोपा अमेरिका के फाइनल में जगह बनाने वाली अर्जेंटीना की टीम को दो
स्थान का फायदा हुआ है और वह जर्मनी को हटाकर पहले स्थान पर पहुंच गया है।
हालांकि कोपा अमेरिका के फाइनल में अर्जेंटीना चिली से हार गयी थी। जर्मनी
अब दूसरे स्थान पर है जबकि बेल्जियम एक स्थान के नुकसान के साथ तीसरे स्थान
पर पहुंच गया है।

Country's second largest IT services firm Infosys has signed a
multi-million euro deal with Deutsche Bank. Under the terms of the
agreement, Infosys will provide services like development, application
maintenance, digital and mobility, package implementation and testing
services across the Deutsche Bank Group.
देश की दूसरी
सबसे बड़ी सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी सेवा कंपनी इन्फोसिस ने ड्यूश बैंक के साथ
करोड़ों यूरो का अनुबंध किया है। कंपनी इस समझौते के तहत ड्यूश बैंक समूह
को सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी उपायों के विकास, रखरखाव, डिजिटल एवं मोबिलिटी,
पैकेज कार्यान्वयन और परीक्षण सेवाओं जैसी सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा।
