Oh My God - Synopsis

 OMG – Oh My God! is a 2012 Indian Hindi satirical comedy-drama film. The storyline is based on a Gujarati stage-play entitled Kanji Virudh Kanji. Its story is similar to an Australian film The Man Who Sued God. It is directed by Umesh Shukla. The film features Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles, along with Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal role.

Made on a budget of 20 crore (US$3.3 million), the film released on 28 September 2012, and received extremely positive response from critics upon release. The movie was declared as a blockbuster. The film is being remade in Telugu as Gopala Gopala with Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan.

The soundtrack of OMG – Oh My God! is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, Sachin - Jigar and Meet Bros Anjjan, whilst the lyrics have been penned by Shabbir Ahmed, Kumaar, Swanand Kirkire and Subrat Sinha. The album features Himesh Reshammiya, Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher, Benny Dayal, Ash King, Suraj Jagan, Keerthi Sagathia, Zubeen Garg, Meet Bros Anjjan, Arya Acharya, Mohd Irfan, Aman Trikha and Parash Nath behind the mic.
