The popular Bangla channel Zee Bangla is all set to launch a new show titled Phulmoni, a family drama, which will focus on the relationship between a mother and a child.
Directed by Manojit Majumdar, it will see Tumi Asbe Bole actor Siddhartha Banerjee and Aponjon actor Kinni Modak in lead roles.
It’s a story of a woman (Kinni) who is married since the past six years but is unable to become a mother due to certain reasons .
She will develop a motherly bond with a child (five-years-old Subhranshi) who hails from a slum. So, we want to show through this story that blood relation is not the sole factor to define motherhood.
The fact that she has no blood relation with the child does not bring any changes in the relationship. It’s the love that binds them together.
