Zee Anmol will air ‘Jamai Raja’ from 6 February, every Monday to Friday, at 9 pm. The show will replace soap opera ‘Bandini’, produced by Balaji Telefilms.The show is produced by actor Akshay Kumar and co-produced by Ashvini Yardi, Meenakshi Sagar .

The show is about a son-in-law who takes responsibility after marriage and embarks on the journey to set right the discord between his wife and mother-in-law.

The story captures how Siddharth (Ravi Dubey), despite being a jet-setting hotelier with a growing empire to tend to, takes it upon himself to repair the estranged relationship between his wife Roshni (Nia Sharma) and mother-in law Durga Devi (Achint Kaur).

Durga Devi, a strong willed woman who has seen a lot in her life and has attained success after struggling against poverty, has zero tolerance for laziness and mediocrity.

On the other hand, her daughter Roshini has a rebellious streak. With an independent mind of her own, she isn’t about to treat her mother’s ideologies as the gospel truth.
