The play talks about the 13th day of the epic battle of Mahabharata and the killing of Abhimanyu in the Chakravyuh formation.

Nitish Bharadwaj said, “Krishna has been an irreplaceable part of my life, whether playing it on TV or in front of live audiences. While Chakravyuh explores the killing of Arjun's son Abhimanyu, it also discusses some of the most important philosophical questions of life. I'm glad the play is a part of the Maruti Suzuki Zee Theatre series in taking theatre to all corners of the country.”
