Badlapur (Movie)
Badlapur is a 2015 Hindi neo-noir action crime drama film directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, with Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta, and Radhika Apte in supporting roles. The film was released on 20 February 2015 to highly positive reviews.
Plot
The wife and child of Raghu (Varun Dhawan) are killed all of a sudden under unfortunate circumstances during a bank robbery. The only mistake they commit is to be present at the wrong place at the wrong time. This leads to an intense revenge drama.The movie then follows Raghu’s life for the next 15 years. In the mean while, bank robber and murderer Liak (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) gets old in the jail and is surviving with a hope that he will be out after 20 years and lead a happy life with the help of the money he robbed along with his partner in crime Harman (Vinay Pathak). Raghu on the other hand, has a different plan for them altogether.
