Sushant Singh Rajput is playing role of Detective Byomkesh Bakshi in this Movie. The film is set against the backdrop of World War 2.
Plot | Story of Detective Dyomkesh Bakshi Upcoming Film
The story and Character for the movie is picked from the 2 famous Bengali novel of Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's novel, Satyanweshi and Pother Kanta.The Story of the Movie is Based on the Situation of Kolkata during the World War-II how the nature of crime changed in Kolkata.
There were air raids and there were Japanese spies as well. And that point, Kolkata was a port city, so there were naturally more crimes. In this scenario a young detective, Byomkesh Bakshy, came to solve a mystery — his first case.
