Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par is a show set in Lucknow, in the year 2015. The city is changing rapidly and all facilities are available; be it malls, theatres, big offices etc. Still for a young guy like Arya, the city of Mumbai has a special charm. He dreams to go to Mumbai to fulfil his cherished dreams.

Arya is an extremely principled guy harbouring the virtues of a small-town middle class man. Though he is into theatre, he is not into its bohemian values. He is very professional and single-minded in his approach. He does not understand the world of compromises.

This is the story of Arya, his passion to achieve his dreams and the love of his life, Niyati. The story takes a drastic turn when a successful actress named Shikha Roy enters his life putting his dreams and relationships to the test.
