Colors's 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' to go off air in March?
Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi is one of the most passionate love stories told on television in recent times. It got off to a slow start on the TRP charts but slowly made its place in viewers’ hearts largely due to the fabulous chemistry between the lead pair.
A story of unrequited love, as pitched by the makers, Ranveer (Shakti Arora) and Ishaani’s (Radhika Madan) chemistry had the viewers hooked. The TRPs were high and the two actors amassed a huge fan following.
Yesterday, we heard that there are rumours that the show might go off-air as the TRPs had plummeted. Last week’s rating was 1.7, which is quite low. As many fans would agree, things had gone a little awry from the time they introduced Shakti Arora in a double role.
The lead couple had just got back together after a long time and trouble was already brewing. There were hardly any romantic intense or cute scenes, which fans of the show loved.
