Fitoor  is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and is based on Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations.

The movie will be directed by "Kai Po Che" fame Abhishek Kapoor starring Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead roles. Both the actors will be seen for the first time on screen.

Previously, the heartthrob Sushant Singh Rajput has grabbed the main lead opposite Katrina Kaif. Because of his paani movie, now he has replaced by Aditya. After much hunting for the lead character, Abhishek has finalized Aditya Kapoor.

Plot/Story Wiki

Fitoor is a romantic flick. It is an adaptation of Charles Dickens's classics The Great Expectations. This will be the first time for Katrina to work with director Abhishek Kapoor.

The story of the film centers on a young Kashmiri boy Noor, his muse Firdaus and a mercurial Begum. Rekha will essay the role of the Begum that is based on Miss Havisham in the book.


Aditi will be seen the role of Rekha's character's younger version. Fitoor is set to go on floors later this month and will be shot in Delhi, Srinagar and London.
